Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup frozen sweet corn kernels   
  • 1 cup basmati rice; rinsed   
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons essential olive oil   
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder   
  • 1/2 cup frozen garden peas   
  • 3/4 cup chicken stock   
  • 1 dollop of butter   
  • 1/2 large onion; diced small   
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro stalks   
  • 1 large clove of garlic; finely diced   
  • Salt; to taste

Sweet Corn Pilaf recipe

Preparation:  

  1. Select the *Rice/Risotto* mode around the Power Pressure Cooker XL in addition to set for 6 minutes.   
  2. Add the oil and onion on the heating pot. Sauté for 5 minutes.   
  3. Stir inside remaining Ingredients except the butter.   
  4. Secure the lid and turn the strain knob for that closed position.   
  5. Once done; release pressure to succeed succeed completely and eliminate the lid.   
  6. Add butter on the hot rice. Let it melt before serving. Serve warm.
